What is an Internet sale? Internet sales are a method of selling merchandise and products which are generally photographed and a written description is given for each item. Sales vary in length so make sure to look at the details. The sales are do not generally have fixed or reserve prices. You bid by computer with other bidder's participating entering and increasing bids until the final bid is made on the last day at the end of the sale. How does bidding work? The sales and bids are simulcast over the Internet from www.bid-sell.com. The current high bid and the next ask price to bid. A max bid option is available so you do not have to have be present to bid. It is not shown to other buyers but protects you to the pre determined price you have set. In the last two minutes if a buyer enters a higher amount it extends the bid 3 minutes and will continue to do so until last buyer has placed the highest bid and no one else bids for three minutes.
What do I need to do to participate? Go to the Register link and follow the registration steps. When you register, you will receive a your own ID and password. Do I have to pay any fees to participate? No, but all purchases have a 10%-15% purchase premium and sales tax is added as required by State law.
How do I login? Find the sale which you are interested. Click on heading and scroll down and you will be able to log in. You will need to provide your bidder identification and password to log in.
What if I cannot bid online? If you are unable to access www.bid-sell.com on the day of an sale. You are welcome to call 320-292-6287 or 320-292-0043 for alternative arrangements
How do I make payment for the items I win? Payment must be made via wire transfer or with guaranteed payment at pick up site. Call Heather at 320-292-6287 to have wiring instructions sent to you. If you are picking your items up at the sale site, payment can be made at time of pickup cash, cashiers check, or money order. Made payable to bid-sell
